We’ve published a new advertiser page, submitted v2.3.0.0 to the JioStore with support for the recently-released JioPhone Prima 4G, and are sharing behind the scenes updates optimizing the PodLP backend.

PodLP is different from other podcast apps. It’s designed and optimized for smart feature phones on tiny ~2" (~5cm) 240x320px screens and targets a global audience of largely first-time internet users. Given technical constraints and a unique audience, we’ve managed sponsorship scheduling and purchasing ad hoc.

About 1% for the Planet

One Percent for the Planet is an international organization whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes. The oranization was founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies.

PodLP v1 was released on the KaiStore in June 2020, and the JioStore in October 2020. Since then, we have continued to push updates and make improvements to deliver the best podcast experience on KaiOS smart feature phones worldwide.
